A large asphalt parking lot with boat ramp. Located along the Warrior River. Free site. Two bars on Verizon. No amenities. Some noise at night from a few cars turning around and a few barges going by but not much traffic after midnight.

very secluded had the only noise I heard was from passing ships. the ships were huge and it was really cool to see them go by
Report Check-In9 out of 10 would stay again.
Easy to find and a very peaceful nights sleep. We were in around 7 pm and out by 9am. The river makes for a nice sunrise. It looks like some locals set a pile of garbage on fire not long ago, which was left in the middle of the parking lot... not cool. Otherwise, it was a nice place for a night. Make sure to pack out what you pack in or, better yet, pick up some that isn't yours. Leave it better than you found it. Thanks for the pin!
Report Check-InVery calm spot, have not seen any tugboats docking up, quiet night with great view.
Report Check-InThis is a small asphalt lot next to the Black Warrior river. Has a boat launch for a fishing boat and about a 6 foot wooden pier. No amenities, but a nice quiet boondocking spot that has a paved road going to it. Nice place if you're in a pinch... HOWEVER: It was a suprise to say the least when at about 6:30pm, a giant tugboat pulled up next to my rig, and started loading an unloading cargo with a white van that also pulled up. As it turns out, this is a shipping channel. Tugboats use this river to get barges down to the gulf and upstream. This is a public use area so you are allowed to be here as for as I can see. But note tugboats use this spot for work. The workers didn't seem to mind me being there because I was out of their way. So if you're gonna spend the night here then try to avoid parking in the southeast corner near the boat launch. Also note that because there is a small amount of water traffic, it may not be as quiet as some would like.
TL;DR Good public use spot in a pinch, but be mindful of boats and their workers.
Report Check-InBoat ramp. Huge parking lot. I camped in a tent with my motorcycle. No overnight traffic. Far off beaten path.
Report Check-InReally enjoyed this place! Relatively quiet. Couple big boats cruising around.
