A small spot on the road leading to the Boulder Mail-Trail trailhead. Once you turn off Hells Backbone road, there is a small spot on the left, and if you follow the road to the trailhead there are a few more spots. Not really for big-rigs or tow campers, but you’ll be fine in 2WD vans or smaller rigs.
Make sure you stay clear of the Boulder landing strip! Perfect for an early start on the BMT.

lovely spot!! definitely recommend 👌 byo water and enjoy the area.
Report Check-InWe spent 1 night here and had no issues. The real spot was occupied so we drove a little further and we stayed on the pullout on the right.
Report Check-InThis specific spot was full but the trailhead itself to the south has parking spots where I and a few other vehicles overnighted. Not level though. If you drive around the area there are a few other clearings too. Ok for a night but there are much better spots farther from boulder.
No Verizon
Report Check-Inwe camped in the one secluded/shaded spot before the dirt runway and it was quiet and had a really nice firepit! there was another site or two you could pull off in, but with no shade. it looked like there was a car camped beyond the runway, we just didn’t venture that far.
