Botswana
Very nice campground with shared abolution block which has flush-toilete and showers (for hot water they make a fire for you). Free firewood and beautiful view to a hippo pool. At night hyena, hippos and even leopard came around. Very friendly staff. They also offer nice Mokoro tours (300 pp for 2 hours). 250 pula pppn.

We had the campsite nr. 3 with nice view to the river with a couple of hippos. Water tap, braai stand, fireplace. Walking distance from one ablution, where the donkey shower was warmish but not hot. Staff made us a fire in the evening. 300 pula/pppn. Heard hippos, hyenas, leopard and distant lions at night. Saw leopard tracks at the campsite in the morning, too. Friendly staff. No Mascom signal, but Orange should work.
Report Check-InAs everyone said, really Nice place run by a friendly team. Each Campsites has a beautiful view on Mbudi River, with fire place (free wood) and a braii. Ablutions are simples but very clean. 100% wild experience
300 pppn (150 for children above 6 yo)
We also did the Mokoro Trip with the Campsite team and we loved it
300 pp for 2h
Highly recommended !
Beautiful, friendly, clean!
Had much game around.
Ablution in walking distance.
Highly recommended.
We think this is the best campsite in Khwai, stayed 3 nights, sire 3 is right on the river and gives a good view, we had hippo, loads of elephants, leopard and a sable in the camp and coming to the river. It is the closest camp to access the game drives on the opposite side at Khwai. KG and his team are friendly and helpful, firewood is provided, good ablutions with a wood fired donkey for hot water. A friend did the Mokoro trip with KG and loved it, very up close and personal with hippos and birds 300 pula pppn for camping and 300 pula for a Motorola trip.
Report Check-InThis is probably the cheapest camping around in Khwai. 300 pula pp which is still expensive for what you get. Nice camping spot though. We had lots of elephants passing during sunset and a leopard visiting at night. Ablutions are simple, you let them know what time you need hot water and they will fire up the donkey for you. Also did the mokoro boat trip (300 pp) with KG which was very nice.
Report Check-InWas a nice stay there. But they charge now 300pppn.... We was alone at the campsite...
i dont understand, why the camps in khwai are so expensive. it makes no sense. All campings are empty, and that in the "highseason".
but at least, here u have friendly staff and they make a fire for you at the evening.
Mokoro Tour was still 300pP. it was quite nice.
Nice wild camp by the river...lots of shade at my spot..Price is still 250 Pula per person... cheapest in the area. Ablutions new and clean... Hans (not his real name!) is a local guide and was very helpful. Site faces due west and so wonderful sunset across the river.
Report Check-InThe coordinates entered showed a Xwabaxwa camp in the center of Victoria Falls. However, the camp is in Botswana, near Khwai. I changed the coordinate accordingly. Since I'm in Zimbabwe, I can't determine the absolutely exact coordinates.
