Stopped here and it was pretty much as described. Lots of noise from trucks on 58, but that would probably have eased up overnight. One big difference though - it was clearly posted No Overnight Camping, so we moved on.
Report Check-InBathrooms were open and very clean for a rest stop. Nice big lot for RVs or vans, stayed overnight and didn't run into anyone.
Bit too shady for solar.
right off 58. beautiful views of Lookout point lake. picnic tables and pit toilet but no other services. 2 bars on verizon. lot is level and has parking spots for rvs. $5 pass requested through recreation.gov app. train and highway run alongside with noise accordingly.
