Great Boondocking spot. Some sand to drive through if coming from the north, just at the highway off ramp. Some rock fire rings, probable 5 dispersed sites on canyon edge.

It can get windy up here, gusting to about 50 miles per hour! I turned right from highway 170 onto what looks like a gravel landing strip , turned into an old paved road that has a little bit of dirt up to near the cell tower. I could have done it in the Honda Civic. No probs.
Report Check-InPrivate spot, nice view. We entered through the south east through an old road that leads to the spot. We did it with a 2WD. Not windy at all.
We tried to leave by the west side: we turned around because the road was very steep at one point and were pretty sure we would get stuck. We do not recommend taking the western road if you do not have high clearence and 4wd
I'm not sure why they call that rocky mess a road. As recommended, I came from the truck parking area. I'm going to try going out the other way, because I don't think I can get back out on that road. It was so windy this morning it woke me up around 5am, although now it has died down. It was empty when I got here, but this morning I see an SUV. it's a great open space! right on the canyon edge.
Report Check-InPretty nice spot. Came with my off grid trailer. Small dirt entrance starting up then pavement. Follow the old road up. There is a short sandy section where the old road is gone not too bad and opens up to some great choices. Be ready for some wind but other then that..great spot that is quiet with amazing views. Report Check-InStayed here last night. We came from the south side and it was very easy to navigate. Very quiet and no one else around. Super duper windy.
Report Check-Indont try to take the road from exit 112. you need To come from vegas and take the road near the truck parking area. see the photo. the red is where the road get washed. the green is fine.
Report Check-InThe road was washed out. We couldn’t access with our 29 ft MAN. Not sure if a very high clearance vehicle could do it.
Report Check-InAwesome spot! Road from the south/east isn’t big rig friendly, but the site is if the road from the west is.
Lots of Joshua Trees.
We couldn’t reach the place from the South due to heavy road damage. Probably even a 4WD will not do it. We didn’t try the North access.
Report Check-InLocated on top of a bluff with a great view of the desert. Rocky top soil, not recommend for tent camping. 5min from freeway. Part of the road is washed out but a bypass is there.
Report Check-InWhen you come from North it is not possible to enter that place anymore. There are heavy road damages because of landslides which wash away the street. But from South it is no problem to visit this place.
