Wonderful spot! Very quiet - train came by (as anticipated) with horns sounding at around 7am. Beautiful area with covered picnic benches. Bathrooms open and clean!

As others have noted, a quiet and free place to stay. Not far off the interstate but the only noise comes from passing neighborhood traffic which is pretty light, and the train came by twice in the morning around 6:30. Nice bathrooms, they were cleaning them when we arrived. Electric(20 amp) and water on site but you have to have a long cord and also a long hose if you are going to fill your tanks, about a 35 foot distance for both.

The city park was nice and quiet. The centerpoint brewery had really good burgers and beer.

Very nice spot with water/toilet. Flat spot to park. Camping is allowed for 24h. Was quiet except for the early train .

Really nice flat spot and super quiet except for the train that went by twice. 2 bars of cell réception.

What a wonderful place to spend a night. Nice town park with playground, picnic tables, dog friendly, bathrooms with running water, horseshoes level parking, water spigots, and more. And they say it is OK to camp for a night. Kudos to the town of Quinter for making this available for travelers.

Stayed one night and found it the quietest campsite in days. awesome toilet facilities with warm water. a great gift from the town to travellers

Quiet park, except for the three times the train whistled and rolled through overnight. Also, briefly between dusk and dark, there was a deafening chorus of katydids (or crickets, grasshoppers or locusts?).
Beautifully maintained park with nice level parking, picnic tables and a grill. Grateful that the town allows a 24 hour stay here in a place away from the interstate. Sadly, most local restaurants were closed when we parked here. Two curious "Kansas badlands" locations nearby; Castle Rock and Monument Rocks. Good cell service.

Great spot for a night. Thanks to the city of Quinter for let us stay 24h.
Keep the place clean.
Toilet, picnic table with shade.

Great location for a night stop. Pretty quiet. Bathrooms with warm water/flushing toilets were open all night. A really nice alternative to a parking lot along the interstate.

Quiet place for quick overnight. Nice bathroom with running water. Would stop here again...

Lovely spot for a stopover. Clean, quiet. Restrooms a plus. Wish more municipal parks specifically allowed overnight stays.

Quiet, friendly town. Perfect for a night off 70 or just for a rest.

Description above is accurate. A nice change from rest stops along 70. 24 hour camping allowed sign is still there. Bathrooms were unlocked when we arrived at 1am. Nice large playground for kids. There is a constant noise from a nearby mill or plant of some kind, nothing awful though. And you do hear some Highway noise, but again, not bad. Nice park, nice place. Would definitely stay here again. Help keep this place clean!

There’s a sign that says 24 hour camping allowed. Flat, paved lot near bathrooms and two water pumps. Bathrooms were locked overnight and still locked by 9am. Very quiet and no one bothered me.
