Free camping on BLM land across from Pyramid Rock (see photo). Two bars of 5G T-Mobile and about 50 yards off the dirt road. A few off road vehicles passed by and waved but zero traffic at night and very quiet.
Tons of coyotes howling and a gorgeous spot for a sunset!

A decent spot about 4 miles outside of De Beque. Nice views although probably not as nice as farther down the road. We were just looking for a place for the night away from road noise and this fit the bill. There was no mud when we were here but you can see where people have struggled when it gets wet.
