If you need to use it on the weekend you better come early. There are only four of each type of machine and it’s a very popular place. Very cheap to do laundry here so it’s understandable why everyone wants to do it here.

Only suitable if you are in a car as all parking is underground with a height restriction of 2,1m.

Reasonably close by we found a self-service attached to a BR garage so no height limits. Use google maps to find the franchise “Maria Express” (unfortunately forgot to mark location). It had easy to use payment system which didn’t even ask for CPF

Self service laundromat in shopping mall. In October 2022 it cost 17 reales per load, washing OR drying (so wash + dry = 34). By far the cheapest place we found since Bolivia. Big machines, each load takes less than an hour. Pay by card via the little device on the wall to the left of the washing machines, select if you want to wash or dry, select which machine you are going to use, pay, put your stuff in the machine, select program, start machine. There was an employee there that helped me, very friendly.

Enter the mall via the south east access, the laundromat is on level -1 I think. When we got there at 9am the mall was still closed, but the guard let me in and apparently the laundromat was open since 7am.
