Family garden in Socma near waterfall hike | Established Campground

Súper nice family.
T'hey have a good garden, clean toilets, washing machine (15soles), friendly animals around.

We paid 10 soles x night with our van.

They are really welcoming, and have a vegetal garden where you can take some vegetables if you need.

The kids are lovely, too.

They have Internet.

In the morning we walking to the watterfall, 45/1 hour.

A wonderful family, sheeps, a little pig, cats, dogs, a large vegetable garden, (for us) exotic fruit trees and lots of nature all around. We found this at this beautiful campsite. Walter, Cecilia, 6-year-old Julio and his sister are so welcoming. The family has been running this beautiful place with restaurant for a couple of years. A true paradise ❤️. Beautiful hikes nearby.
Wifi (Starlink) should be installed in January 2024.

Beautiful place and really friendly owners. We paid 10s for the night(2people). Warm enough shower, clean bathrooms, for 15s extra you can do laundry and air dry it. We chose to stay here instead of a second night in Ollantaytambo, worth it.

This place is really beautiful! The road to get there (2km) is a steep gravel road, but at least when we were there it was in good condition. Everything on the campsite is very clean and well maintained. The family is very, very open and friendly!
A washing machine can be used for 15 soles per wash.
We enjoyed our time with Walter and his family very much. Walter speaks English and is also happy to give information about the walks in this beautiful valley. It has a waterfall, Inca ruins and Inca tombs. As it is not (yet) developed for tourism, these hiking trails and sights can be enjoyed more or less alone.

great place for camper van or tent. The land is flat, in a completely secure property. Walter and his family welcomed us with great kindness and kindness. The place is super quiet and beautiful. The cuisine offered is very good. There are a lot of walks to do from this little paradise, all perched in the mountain located in the middle of an authentic village, where the people are very welcoming. We recommend this magnificent place.

super endroit pour camping car où toile de tente. Le terrain et plat, dans une propriété complètement sécurisée. Walter et sa famille nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de bienveillance et de gentillesse. L'endroit est super calme et magnifique. La cuisine proposée est très bonne. Il y a beaucoup de ballade à faire à partir de ce petit paradis, le tout perché dans la montagne situé au millieu d'un village authentique, où les gens sont très accueillants. Nous recommandons cette endroit magnifique.

Good place to spend the night before or after the hike to the waterfall - the way to get to Socma is a dirt road up the mountain and can be a bit tiring. We paid 10 soles for both of us and the car. The camping owner and his family are very kind people. Clean bathrooms and cold shower. There is no cell phone signal here.

Bom lugar para passar a noite antes ou depois da trilha para a Cachoeira - o caminho para chegar em Socma é uma estrada de terra subindo a montanha e pode ser um pouco cansativa. Pagamos 10 soles para nós dois e o carro. O dono do camping e sua família são pessoas muito queridas. Banheiros limpos e chuveiro gelado. Não há sinal de celular aqui.

Nice little campground in the middle of the very quiet town Socma.
From here starts the hike towards the falls, and the historic site above them.
Paid 10sol for a van with 2+2kids. We ordered a diner, was 15sol per plate, very nice food.
Clean toilets and hot shower (although it was cold when we were there)
