online reservation necessary if you're not in the campground before 4.30 pm. called to make a reservation. got an email saying that our license plate number was missing on the reservation. email had a link to fill it in but software didn't work. arrived at 5 pm. everywhere warnings that entering without registration of license plate was gonna be punished with fines. tried to go to visitor centre but that was of course closed. campsite host was not to be found... we drove in anyhow and could not find our campspot. site 36 (our reserved spot) was taken. little did we know (because nobody told us and de campmap didn't show) that there is a separate numbering for tent camping, our spot t36 referred to a totally different part of the campsite for tent camping (again, nobody told us at the moment of the reservation and the numbers are not on the camp map). More important, we drive a camper van with trailer, total 31 feet (we mentioned this during reservation) that hardly fitted the t36 tent campspot. luckely there were hardly any campers and we managed to get in the tent campspot. what more? we wanted a campspot on the lake but there is no path to the lake. showers are dirty and have only cold water... we gonna stay one night... a place to avoid...
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
100% disabled veterans get 50% off of "base rate" not actually rate of campsite chosen. Make sure you verify costs first before coming here so you know. Example; my site was regularly 35, and it cost me 27 after discount.
