Small flat place in the wood above the lake at Alona bay. Take the paved road near the senic outlook to Alona bay, there is space for bigger RVs or drive some meters down a dirt road to a small flat pace, good for one car, maybe 4WD good to drive down to the place. Steep path down to the pebbled beach and great view over the lake.

Nice stop for the night, plenty of space and a wonderful beach with superb sunset.

Located at the southern tip of Lake Superior Provincial Park, easy to locate. Large area for multiple RVs, campers, some grassy open area for tenting, couple smaller spots tucked into woods, several fire pits. Very rugged gravel road/path to lower level, could camp there, would likely need 4WD. Steep path to beautiful view of the Bay. Minimal data signal, no facilities.
Report Check-InStayed one night. Two other motor homes also arrived. Lots of locations tucked back in trees to park. Walked to a spot where someone had installed a rappel rope to get to beach. The fog was rolling in. Fist sized tumbled Rocks filled beach . Could hear highway but too loud
Report Check-InEasy to find. Decent overnight stop. Two other RV’s came in after us. Plenty of room for more
Report Check-InDriving east, the entrance is past coordinates on Lake side of hwy. The site is very large and quiet, no one here tonight. Site is also tucked in away from view of the highway. The land is flat enough to tent. There are some pylons and a porta-potty so it looks like some construction is going on.
Report Check-InReally nice place and quiet for the night.
To go to shore of lake, there is a steep path but ok to walk down and up. Sunset is magnificent.
The upper place is okay. But if you drive to the lower place (straight ahead of the entrance) it’s a great place. Only for vans or similar. 4x4 and some clearance needed! especially after/ while rain. You can still hear the road, but you feel like some lonley place at the ocean.
Report Check-Inonly a sign saying no parking when it Snow cause it's a snow route. Seems well known by trucks. 2 of them went to sleep here. we just had a late pic nic.
Report Check-InGood for one night staying close to Lake Superior Park. Nice and quiet beach. Good to watch the sunset
