Within the Geo. Washington NF off of State Route 817/Genoa Rd. Take Hog Pen Road to the CG; a graded gravel road that was suitable for a truck, SUV or even a sedan (weather permitting).
About 5 campsites along the road. The sites are serviced by short driveways and are alongside a small creek. Level areas found, shade trees too. Quiet. Ideal for small self contained campers, vans, tents. No fee. No services/facilities located here. Verizon 4G service was 2 bars.

Short gravel road, well maintained. 2 wheel drive is fine. Grassy field. This is more of a dispersed campsite. Not sure why it’s listed as an established campsite. Shallow creek that runs behind it. Fire rings, little bit of trash. We had a neighbor who was playing music loudly and running his truck all night but beautiful sunset & view of the stars. 2 bars Verizon but no service AT&T.
Report Check-InWide open spot with not a lot of tree cover or privacy. Luckily I was the only person there on an unusually warm couple of days in January. It’s kind of an annoying base camp because there’s no legal way to get into the mountains to the west. Great cell signal (Verizon) and a nice creek running.
