Great little spot for an overnight but as people have mentioned it’s a little loud from the highway.
Had full bars of Verizon service and if we had more time I’d love to go swimming and fishing. Thanks to this app we found this place and it was a lifesaver after almost hitting a deer on the main highway.

A free campground. Perfect for a nights rest. Easy off and back on the freeway access. There is some noise from the freeway but not unbearable.
We stayed one night with our truck and 30’ fifthwheel. Plenty of pull off spots big enough for us.
I was worried about the road conditions based on other check INS but it was fine. Some snow on top of the gravel but drivable for most any vehicle. nice little spot to stay for the night especially since all the interstate rest area around here seems to be closed (at least temporarily)
Report Check-InSuper close to the intestate and not to loud. Great cell service. Free camping up to three days. Lots of fish in the lake to fish. No bathrooms or amenities.
Report Check-InGreat spot, the rules allow for up to 3 nights of camping. No amenities. We came in on the southwest entrance and the road was very rutted. It’s was hard packed though. Might be a different story if it had recently rained. We stayed right at the entrance and didn’t have to navigate the road. Perfect for a night. Minimal noise off the highway. We have an in truck camper, it would also work for vans, probably not ideal for big rigs. Spots were not perfectly level but with some trial and error you can find level.
