pasamos aquí cuatro noches, tranquilo y seguro. el Malecón es nuevo así que está todo genial, hay papeleras, bancos , policías paseando y muchos locales. ambiente de surf. por las noches la gente local iba con las motos y los coches pero no se quedaban hasta tarde, por las noches no se oía nada de ruido. Hay mucha brisa de mar así que el calor no se siente tan duro.

We stayed for one night with our expedition truck. Plenty of space to park with a big truck like ours. dont take the road through the village if you have a big Overlander but leave the highway one exit earlier when you come from the direction of Barranquilla. save to park, nice breeze from the beach. the area is under construction right now, so not the prettiest. motorbikes on the weekend doing races, but quiet during the night. and due light at night and police passing by, probably fairly save.

We slept one night here. Motorcycles doing races next to us until 12am. After thay was silent. It is forbidden to camp inside the beach (we park in the beach until 6:00pm, then police came by and said to us it was forbidden). Puerto Colombia is worth visiting, such beautiful town with great surf.

On the Highway - Malecón Puerto Colombia there are parking lots for vehicles on the left side of the road. Free of charge, in front of the beach of Puerto Colombia. Level ground, no rubbish. Vehicle flows until 6:30 p.m. from Monday to Sunday. Access to the beach from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Fine for people who enter the beach outside these hours. Multiple houses around, hostel less than 100 meters. A good spot to spend the night, with lighting and surveillance cameras. The police make rounds at night to verify that everything is alright.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------Sobre la Carretera - Malecón Puerto Colombia se encuentran parqueaderos destinados para vehículos del lado Izquierdo de la vía. Sin cobro, frente a la playa de Puerto Colombia. Terreno nivelado, sin basuras. Flujo vehicular hasta las 6:30 p.m de Lunes a domingo. Acceso a la playa desde las 5:30 a.m hasta las 6:00p.m Multa para personas que ingresen fuera de ese horario a la playa. Múltiples casas al rededor, hostal a menos de 100 metros. Buen punto para pasar la noche, con iluminación y cámaras de vigilancia. Los policías hacen rondas en la noche para verificar que todo este bien.
