Very nice place to camp in, the fee is 15$ for a car, the owner are very friendly and helpful. They even helped me to put a tyre on a rim, very nice view.
This place can be a stop on the way to Mfwe or Petauke and there is also a gate to the national parc from the camp.
Heard many lions at night and saw many wildlife elephants, giraffes, baboons, impalas the hippos are in the river in front of the camp.

It is a really nice place. The other comments are correct. I just want to add that watching the daily routines of the hippos from the outlook is fantastic. Chris gave us a warm welcome. He had some extra time left and gave us a tour in his nearby village and set the chairs for a sun downer. He provided fire wood for the braai.
During the night you will hear hippos, lions and leopards.
Amazing place. Chris was very helpful and accommodating, we arrived quite late and there was miss-communication with the owner as he wasn’t there and we had to call him. May be best to book in advance with him - Kevin (owner) 02
Beautiful wee chalets, we paid 100kwacha pp to camp and were just allowed to use the chalet toilet and shower.
If coming from the south, go past wildlife school
Military camp on your left and not far past you will see an entrance for Malama Umoyo on left.
this place is really nice. owners are really helpful and friendly. there were 4 lions coming through camp the day before I arrived and I saw hippos, giraffes, elephants etc from the decking area. need to book in advance if you want food cooked for you. they sell cold 🍺. they also offer game drives and walking safaris if booked in advance. very relaxing spot!
