Spent the night here, conveniently close to Death Valley, right before you enter the fee area for the National park. There was a short RV, and a few vans parked along the way too and no one had any trouble. There are no signs preventing overnight camping, and seems no one cares. Decent view, and fairly nice dirt road had no trouble with our transit or low clearance car.

Site exceptionnel.
what a great find! big rig friendly and lots of space and pads! no cell service, but Starlink is flawless. beautiful views and we expect a great sunset and stars!
Report Check-InOther comments are still accurate! Used this as a base for a few days while exploring Death Valley National Park and it was great. Fine for 2WD promaster, not many people there, great starlink service, and pretty views!
Report Check-InLots of pads and only 3-4 other vans there. We’ve used this place before and would be happy to use again.
Report Check-InThe Pads is a great spot just a stones throw from DV.
No Cell reception.
Park ranger told me about this spot, said it is an abandoned RV park project that is technically private property HOWEVER they have been allowing people to park here for years. Elevation is everything when finding camping at DV, here it was 3,000 so cooled to 70s. Nice clean pads. I had 2 neighbors when I left that I didn’t even hear pull in in the night. No service.
Report Check-Insame as other comments. a wonderful free camp spot so close to Death Valley with so much space to spread out. no facilities. no internet TMobile or AT&T.
Report Check-InGreat place to camp for a night or two. This place is just outside DVNP and about 25 minutes from Furnace Creek. Lots of room and many concrete pads to choose from. No facilities and no cell phone (T mobile). However, if you drive 10 minutes south you can get decent cell service. Quiet and free. You can't beat that!
