I have to revise my comment from yesterday after getting to know the owners better. The lodge is not really completely closed but under renovation and therefore not really functional. But everything should be functional again at the end of April when the first customers arrive. The new owners are lovely and very committed and well organized with great experience and great ideas to develop the site.
It's a great place that we really appreciate and recommend.
This place is temporary closed. New owner is a kind of church community. They want to reopen after renovation.

Report Check-InQuiet and secluded accommodation with flat space for tents as well as chalets right by the river. Birds everywhere and sunset and dawn chorus was beautiful.
Was given key to chalet to use facilities while camping, very clean and well maintained. They have just opened and I was there first overlander! if you want peace away from the crowds on the way to/from Botswana boarder then it's worth a stopover! Smooth road in...on the road out of town go past the point marked on the map by 100m and then turn in right at small white board and you double back into the location which is behind the farm you see from the road.
I would be happy to stay again on my way back!
