Description
Beautiful scenery between river and mountains. very close to the main road. traffic heard. ablutions not very clean, all in all a bit run down but we liked it here.
10.000 tzs ppn, kids are free. No restaurant or bar. Banda roof on the river.
BEWARE acacia trees on drive in are very overgrown and will scrape vehicle!

Very run down, empty bottles and dirt lying around. Chairs and tables on the deck dirty, broken chairs. Abolutions very dirty, ants where there everywhere, even in the toiletbowls. Showers without water. We complained about the water, but they didn’t do anything. The worst we have seen in the last 4 month here in Africa. Lots of other people crossing the campsite. Absolutely not worth the 15000ppn.
Can absolutely not recommand.
Very nice Campsite close to Pangani river. We were positively surprised of the guys and landscape. They set donkey oven for hot shower. Very basic here but very sympathic. Nice self-made terrace on the river with chilled drinks. Still 15000 TSh pp. Take the access gravel where the red sign is, not the wooden sign. We can recommend, please just try it!

Lovely quiet place on the banks of the river with a wooden deck. Good and clean ablution blocks. Solar system. Very nice and quiet.
Report Check-InThis basic campsite has everything for the night when you are self sufficient. It feels like camping in someone's big garden. Very nice local family. They have 2 showers and 2 toilets in a neat little building. The donkey was immediately started up for us on arrival. Very easy to find 150m from the road (red sign). Don't follow google to find it : takes you nowhere. We liked it here a lot to spend a night during our trip. 15.000 Tsh pppn. These people deserve a lot more drivetru campers. There is not much in the area, so just drop in !
Report Check-InWe arrived quite late but the staff were friendly . They have built a cement ablution structure . One Western toilet . Two showers. But hardly any pressure in shower. Not sure if the hot water is still working.
Deck at water was very clean . Noise Todd not bother us through the night. Only negative thing we can say is that their was rubbish lying around their house about 159m away from deck . No security problems. All in all not a bad site if you are self sufficient for 10000TSH pp. you have very little options in this area if you do not want to drive at night. Saw some cougals the next morning
Place of camp changed. Water tank is broken at the moment, but will be repaired in time. Very friendly owner. 10.000 TSh pn.
It is very basic, but a good place for one night on the road from Bagamoyo or Dar to Moshi.
GPS given is point of campsite, not entrance road. Depending on which direction you are coming from, entrance road will be a few hundred meters before or after but BEWARE entrance road is overgrown with acacia and vehicle will be scraped almost constantly. We arrived late so there was no hot water available (but that was okay considering it was 30°C). Showers did not seem to have good water pressure at all. Also, there was absolutely nowhere to set things to keep them clean/dry while showering. Squat toilets. Run down. Can hear road traffic from campsite.
Price is 10,000tsh per person, but it seems there is a nearby hotel for the same price (as listed in ioverlander) so might be worth checking Triple D first. At least staff were friendly and the parking area was spacious.
A little bit run down but quiet and nice. They asked 14 000 TSH/pppn, we offered 10000 TSH and they were ok. Free for the kids. River and a lot of monkeys.
Report Check-Inthe best option for an overnight stop between Arusha and Dar. Hot shower, shade, river: 10000tzs.pp. we always stop here and the next day it is less than 5 hours to reach Bagamoyo and have lunch at Pizza Fresh.

The campsite is nothing to write home about but staff was nice, without asking they heated the donkey shower. Shower and toilet now have a roof. So it’s improving 😄 it was fine for stop over! After negotiations 10.000pppn

Report Check-InShaded places for truckcamper at the river, shaded place for sittting but not when it is raining! hot showers, not realy clean toilets without roof, the whole place are untended with stones, garden waste and everything else. The staff don't speak english.
For one night it is ok.
