The are several gravel pullout sites marked P. This one is big enough for a car or 1 van. This spot is lake view & completely SHADED. There are two steep trails down to a little slate rock beach area (which is pretty private) great for dogs, since no pets are allowed at the swimming area(where there are pit toilets) You can see the boats docked at the marina. Stayed 1 night, full bars verizon 4g

loved it here. it was shaded and cool in the summer. people were parking and leaving on and off all evening but it became pretty quiet later in the evening. it stormed while I was there but that's on me!
I had great cell reception here
Report Check-InBeautiful, quiet location. The dogs loved to swim here and we took a dip as well. 2 bars AT&T 5G.
Report Check-InA fantastic spot. I didn’t even look for the formal campground; I just pulled into one of the marked parking pullouts. The road is fairly busy during daylight, especially on a beautiful Saturday morning, as the reservoir is a popular fishing/boating destination. It all quiets down at dusk though, and is just beautiful. Basically flat, with full TMobile service. Many parking areas have pedestrian access through the trees down the slope to the lakefront.
Report Check-InAs described, beautiful location. The main campground is closed, so we parked here for the night with our 20’ van. Very level and beautiful view of the lake. Nobody bothered us., although it was a little creepy being the only ones out there.
Report Check-InWonderfully peaceful spot after season, as described many options along this road. Views of reservoir through trees, only sound is the birds, maybe one car passing by at night. Pit toilets open at picnic area. 3 bars ATT
