Gravel parking under highway 9 overpass to Cape Henlopen. Access via Gill’s Neck road directly from Lewes. This is a popular fishing spot. Fisherman come and go at all hours. The bridge is quite solid and muffles the traffic well, plus it provides much needed shade. There’s room for two to three vehicles under the bridge plus more parking in the adjacent gravel lot. We enjoyed a quiet night here. We didn’t fish this time but have scored Striped Bass here on a previous trip.

Stayed one night here with our camper. It was very quiet and peaceful. There is room for two rigs pulled straight in. Construction zone in the lot next door. You need to access this spot from Gills Neck Road not Rt 9. The gps wants to take you on Dr 9 which makes it hard to find in the dark!

Report Check-Inendroit proche du centre. Le cadre est joli, la nuit est calme malgré quelques voitures sur le pont. Nous étions 2 RV de 24 feet et nous avons passé une bonne nuit.
Report Check-InWe have stayed here on occasions. No issues to report. Quiet nights but expect tru is on the overpass early am that can create a ruckus. Several fishermen showed up at dusk but that was it.

Report Check-InGreat little spot! Didn’t hear too much noise from the bridge, but we sleep with a sound machine. We fit perfectly!
