Description
After cruising for hours through Kigali to find a spot for our van, we found this place by luck. Most of the other places are closed down or ridiculous expensive.
You can sleep in the parking lot, some places are more or less leveled, for free. There are three options. You can take a room for 10.000 with private shower and toilette. Or you go into the steam sauna for 3000 pp, or you just use the saunas shower and toilettes for free. They have a nice little restaurant, a bar and a garden.

This is not a campsite. However, the owner, Pascal, still welcomes Overlanders and gives the possibility to stay in the car park and use the shower for free. Obviously, it's a good gesture to get something at the restaurant ( the grilled meat was a bit on the dry side...). It's the cheapest option we found in Kigali, you can get a decent room for 15,000 francs and you are located not that far from the food market and the airport. You can use the sauna for 3,000pp. The place is quiet from 11pm to 9am, although at weekends, it may be getting a bit louder as here they run an outside catering business, and the guys need to load/unload the vans . Also, the parking is not levelled, so if you plan on sleeping in your vehicle, you need some stones or levellers. The parking is secure. We left our Prado parked all day and used public transport to go around the city
