Impressive place and busy little town. You can stock up on everything unless you are looking for some specific like eg soldering iron.
It feels a bit weird when you pass people on horses and donkeys, wild camping and then you have this fine dining experience. It is a nice place but not really for us. It's not necessarily kids friendly. Make sure you bring toys and or ideas for them yourself. We kept ours entertained with village walks on their bikes watching horses and donkeys passing by.
The campsites have everything you need but it's not necessarily a nice campsite. Maybe it was just not as tidy since we were here in offseason.

The place is great, very beautifull, clean toilet and hot shower. Free wifi. Quite expensive but it worth.

Lovely place. Big Rigs: beware its a postage size campsite. Room for 1BR and a couple of cars. R165pppn. Food at restaurant was mediocre and expensive in our view. The hike to the waterfall was great. Beware that there is a R100 to view waterfall (by govt).

Spent 2 nights here. You really need 2 minimum to enjoy it.
Tips:
1. Drive to see Maletsunyane Falls. Just before you get to the visitors centre there is a dip. Turn left there and follow the 4x4 low range track down to the cliff face for great shots!
2. Horse rides just bring you to the same spot you can drive to.
3. Donkey pub crawl is a must do experience.
4. Make time to sit on the Pub (Duck & Donkey) terrace watching the locals pass by. Magic spot.

Beautiful place, helpful owners, camping 165R per person. Don’t miss the hike, or horse ride, to waterfalls.

We loved our stay at Semonkong! The grassy campsites have the best view of the river just below, and the ablutions block was clean and had hot water. But the real plus was the Duck and Donkey tavern, part of the lodge, a cosy place to warm up after an afternoon of horse trekking in the rain! The lodge run this and other activities (e.g. abseiling) directly and create jobs for the local community in the process, and we understand there are lots of other ways they give back. Would definitely recommend a stay here, and a hike to the nearby waterfall, whilst in Lesotho!

Beautiful campsite located on the river. Slightly smaller spots but we still fitted with a range rover and an awning. Ablutions clean but no hot water in one of the showers. Beautiful restaurant and bar. We paid 330zar per night for 2 people. Electricity available 7am-10pm. Great hiking route to the falls, would stay there again.

Because of the off season it was quite and they are building new ablutions and other stuff. Only stayed for one night.

Nice place to stay one or two nights. Campsites near the river with braai , electricity and table and banks. Hot shower and kitchen. 150 R/ppn. It’s beatween villages. You can go to the falls at 4 km without guide. Follow the way from the habitants at the left from Adventure Shop. Owners very fiendly are from Lesotho and from Ile Maurice (french).

C'est le seul camp possible dans le secteur, l'interet semble plus pour la location des lodges que le camping, qui n'a que 5 à 6 place maxi.

250 rand per person per night for the dorm. No negotiations possible. WiFi can be bought for 80 rand per device, you can buy data from Vodacom for half the price. Kitchen. Hot shower. Cheap food and supermarket in town, so we didn't eat in the restaurant. Dorm has nice and clean beds.

Like described by others. Except prices have gone up: now 150 rand. Restaurant is excellent. Ablutions are okay. No locks on showers and toilet. No hooks or rails to put your clothing on when showering.
There was plenty of hot water. Poweroutlets on site.
There is no kitchen for campers, but there is a table and some braais. Potable water is available (I think for free) at the bar.

Rustic but nice lodge situated in gorge at river. Access road is rough but higher clearance will suffice. Very small camping area with braai stands, shelter and electricity. Showers didn't really get warm but that was probably due to ongoing renovations. Many activities on offer including world's highest abseiling and pony trekking. We did the latter for 350R (23€) pp and enjoyed it very much. Do yourself a favour and order Papatha (local steamed bread) at the restaurant. Best bread we have had in ages and you can order takeaway. Restaurant is good and well priced especially the lunch menu. 100R (6,50€) pp

Very nice campsite right by the river. The lodge is involving the people of the local community for their activities such as horse riding, hiking or abseiling. 3hrs horse ride to Maletsunyane 350 Rand pp. / abseiling 970 Rand pp. water at the ablution only (river water, not for drinking).

Camping site next to the Lodge and at the river. Ablution block and separate kitchen. Very good restaurant. Nice area for walks. There is the worlds longest single drop abseil, 204 meter, down the Maletsunyane Falls. The last part of the road to the Lodge is bumpy but you can do it with a high clearance 2WD. We paid M200 for 2 persons and the truck including electricity.
