Obvious camping spot with probably 10 or so permanent residents running generators, but didn’t look horrible for single night. I didn’t stay here, but Kirkland is very safe. Hardly any road traffic.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Spent three subsequent nights here. Very quiet. The permanent residents living here in old RVs (five or so) seem to have preferred parking spots for their cars, some marked by orange cones. It's probably best to not park in "their" spots. I parked twice behind a stationary old white RV where the basketball field is, and once at the very front of the line of RVs and cars, just before the point where the curb turns red.
Report Check-InThere are permanent residents here, as well as intermittent visitors. Spots can fill up, not a ton of space. Lots of business traffic during the day, mostly quiets down late at night, but starts back up early. Haven't had issues.
Report Check-InI’ve been staying in Kirkland off and on all winter. I drove by this spot to check it out and did not like the vibes. No spots were open and filled run down dicey looking RVs. As a single female, I definitely wouldn’t recommend. There’s plenty of stealth camping throughout the city that feels so much safer. Generally, Kirkland is a safe place but I did not feel that way at this particular spot.
