Two parking lots, one small one for the museum and one just west somewhat bigger for the trails. The second parking would fit a medium size RV. The place is calm even if close to the road, since traffic is very very light.
Report Check-InStayed on a Sunday night and the museum was closed Monday so it was very quiet. Had a nice walk through the trails. The park near the cliffs though is pretty fenced off due to erosion so you can’t get anywhere near the water. We drove to Port Bruce and spent the day at the beach instead.
Report Check-InTranquille et sécuritaire, toilettes sèches disponible ainsi que des poubelles, sentiers et observations oiseaux et chevreuils. C’est le stationnement d’un parc provincial et hors saisons.
Report Check-InSmall parking lot near a museum and walking trails. Only room for a few vehicles, might be challenging for anything bigger than a van.
There are a few toilets near the lot - outhouse style with a faucet but no water for hand washing.
No signs saying anything against overnight parking, but I don’t recommend more than a single night stopover. Another vehicle pulled up in the lot around midnight, but otherwise things were empty. We didn’t have any exchange, since they seemed to be getting ready for the night here (or taking their own extended break from driving in the fog).
If you stay here, they have a list of local businesses that sponsor them. Seems polite to check them out the next day.
