Peaceful and clean. Cows, birds and the odd train with a few cars going by and I won’t mention the few dogs that are barking. Electricity so we can plug in our heated blankies. Ear plugs will be worn tonight but we are grateful to be here.
Report Check-Innice camp area with covered pavilion.
water and power. There are bathrooms 100 yards towards town at the ballpark.
We needed a place to sleep, and this was good. Should have parked “nose in” with our Sprinter as the area does slope a bit.
Report Check-InQuiet quaint little place. Electric is across from the white covered building that has picnic tables. NO BATHROOMS. Also make sure to bring cash for a donation, Dollar general in town doesn't give cash back unfortunately. Horses across the street, cows somewhere in the distance you can hear them moowing. Tons of beautiful bird songs. Had the whole place to myself. FREE but donation is encouraged.
Report Check-InFriendly folks in town at the lumber yard and the market, and a lovely spot to stay - if you're okay with trains through the night.
Report Check-InFree but there is a donation box. Electric outlets in a back in type lot. Water in the blue faucet was on, red one not. Has a street light so not dark at night. Lots of trains going by, sounding their horns, but we like trains. Highway noise not bad considering it’s close by. We stayed here in a truck and 25 foot trailer and we’re the only ones here. Had to park at an angle to fit without blocking roadway. Very nice to find a place with electric as it was very hot and we could use the AC. Quiet, great for dog walks with a track right next to this site. Would stay here again. Easy to find. Thank you Thedford!
Report Check-InLovely little park. Very basic. Potable water and electric available. Only one other person arrived after dark. Safe little overnight stop.
