Really cute old Swedish town. There is a public area near the fire station with bathrooms. Parking around town looks to be all open street parking. I don’t see any “no overnight “ signs.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
great stop for the night. safe town with a few good dinner and breakfast spots. no one bothered us.
Report Check-InJust stayed one night here. Cop came in the morning and said we can park here but not allowed to use the electricity. He said we are perfectly fine to stay here but not for multiple nights. He mentioned there is truck parking at the Mcdonald’s right up the road that have actual RV/Semi lanes.
Report Check-InStayed overnight with a 30ft RV, very quiet place, you can hear the train in the morning but not a big thing.
we were also able to get electricity for the rv
What a beautiful little town. After getting groceries and having supper. We spent a quiet night parked on the side of a road. No worries, no one bothered. There is a busy train track so note that. We left at 6 as to not overstay our welcome
Report Check-InGreat spot next to park with water and toilets. Lots of parking with no restrictions in this town. A resident came out and offered me food after seeing me stay in my van overnight. Cute town with nice people.
Report Check-Instay for a night in the nice swedish town in chrismas- look. but at night very noisy from the train and railroad. maybe we are a bit spoiled... at the start of te evening one guy tried to look inside our van with a flashlight and walked away quickly because I think we were home.
Report Check-InBeautiful park to spend the night, bathrooms well maintained and no overnight signs. Spent the night parallel parked over 3 parking bays in 30ft skoolie and no problems. Police drove by a couple times and feels totally safe. Be sure to check out some of the little historic sites they have like the old prison and coffee pot water tower. If you’re subtle about it they have outlets in the flower garden 40ft from the closest parking. Highly recommend.
