Nice overnight spot off the highway. Entry is good though there was a 5m section of road near the L end flooded by the river. Wouldn't use the
murky nature water even filtered. Very quiet at night. Not much view of the main river.

As previously mentioned a quiet spot for the night on the river. We previously tried to stop at two rec sites further north but both were closed due to forest fires and this worked out just fine.

unmarked graveled maintained road about 400 yd long then a space to turn. spent a quiet night here. appreciate I overlander as driving in the dark and would never have found it without the pin.

Had a nice quiet night. The police came and did their rounds at about 10pm. They had no issue with us being there. The pic shows the end of the road which has a small turnaround.

Very easy to access even for a big vehicle. We took first left in to woods back in, had a nice view of river from window as there is small cleaning between trees, private and much needed shade as it was super hot day. Good night sleep

Another amazing free AK camp. Google maps took me beyond the road in but simple to sort out based on the map image. Yes you can go slightly deeper for more privacy but not as lovely a view and no turn around - you would have to back out. Didn’t receive max rating cause you can hear the occasional vehicle on the highway. It’s a perfect stop when traveling between Chicken and Fairbanks.
