Secluded and beautiful, overlooking the Nenana River and approximately 60 feet below the Denali highway. Fire ring. Level and large enough to turn around a truck. (Do not attempt to take your vehicle all the way down to the river.) It's a small rocky overgrown trail to get down here with two very tight switchbacks. (Consider going in reverse between the switchbacks.) Expect to get fresh scratches on your paint.

Beautiful, well known spot. Facing the river, there is a creek to the right with clear water (small footpath). Lots of toilet paper, signs of intensive use, little other garbage. We had one visitor who left immediately. Quiet, no traffic on the highway at night.
Report Check-InSadly there was someone already down here when I got here..but I will definitely be back to this spot. Secluded and beautiful. No T Mobile cell service. It's a small rocky overgrown trail to get down here with a couple tight switchbacks. at the 2nd switchback I decided to back in just in case I couldn't turn around, but there is a good area to turn around a truck here. Added photos.
