Quiet site on the bluffs on the edge of town with terrific views of Kachemak Bay, the Homer Spit and the glaciers. Potable water spigot and 2bars of ATT and Verizon
Report Check-InI checked out all the campground in town and this one is my favorite.
The sites are fairly close to each other, but there is a lot of trees and bushes so you don't feel like you're crowded in, or exposed. The campgrounds in the Spit are all open without any privacy.
Report Check-InNice municipal campground with 30 spots. In the trees. Some sites with views of the bay. Pit toilets and one water spigot on site. Park with flush toilets adjacent to this. $20 per nite. First come first serve. Turns are tight, so rigs over 24’ may be challenged for most sites, although bigger rigs can make some sites.
