Very quiet, good cell service with T-Mobile. Was able to drive in fine from the entrance farther from the park.

This spot is pretty cool! It was pretty windy when we first got there but it died down once the sun set. Its nice and quiet except for the coyotes howling at night, which is neat. The town of Wall is close by and has a neat store that you must check out!

beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! lovely area to camp for free with friendly neighbors and a stunning, spacious view of the badlands.

Busy area with lots of people staying and hanging out. No shade so can be hot and windy. Lots of space on the rim or nearby, depends how much you like neighbors vs views. Decent Verizon. Starlink dreamland. Treat the area with respect, Democrats have already significantly reduced vehicle access on our national grasslands and they're looking for any reason to restrict further. I see some areas are already marked no vehicles

Views here were absolutely stunning, Lots of other campers as well. Very quiet and peaceful. Got hit by a storm the night I was here, the roads do get very very muddy/slick

beautiful place with amazing view (great sunrise and sunset), but full of musquitos! there were a lot cows too.. we found a first place, but we had to move our tent because of that cause they move a lot. they are a little noisy but no danger :)
there had a storm during the night too. in the morning it was wet, so be carefull if not with a 4x4.
a lot of people, but a lot of place (tent, rv, camping car, etc)
no water no toilet, and not a lot of privace to do our needs.

Great view and sunrise, very windy if you have a tent. Had to use my car to block the wind haha. Highly recommended

Another gorgeous spot. Stayed here after spending too much money at Wall Drug. 2 bars Verizon. Lots of other boondockers, but still plenty of space. Really enjoyed hearing the coyotes serenade at sunset.

Report Check-In

Great view! Lots of campers and lots of spots to choose from. 2 bar T-Mobile.

As others said busy place the spot I stayed wasn’t the most level. Coyotes howling with the wind at night and plenty of sunshine. Good att signal.

flat and relatively flat spots for the van, along the gravel road and top of the bluff. beautiful spot and lots of rigs but there is plenty of space for privacy...just drive a bit further along the road. yes, the wind started howling at dusk.

Report Check-In

Spectacular views. Great wildlife viewing, including big horn sheep, bison, eagles. Open prairie, so exposed to wind and sun. One of the best boondocking spots we have ever been to. Others must think so too because it’s crowded. Get here before 3 pm if you expect a spot, and this is the shoulder season. Oh, and good cell. T-Mobile 3 bars 5G 40 MB download 7 MB upload

Lots of spots and LOTS of people.
Nice views. Total sun. Very windy at night.

This area is a BoonDocking paradise. So much wide open space, great views, and right outside the National Park. There’s no shade, but if you’re arriving late and leaving early the constant breeze should get you through the night.

We stayed one night here. It’s a beautiful place if you are able to stay on the edge safely.. however we have dogs and don’t prefer to be on a drop off like that. We stayed in the grassy flat area near the beginning on the road. It worked perfect for us for 1 night. Good AT&T service. Strong wind and flies due to being near water and cows!

Report Check-In

plenty of open land to pick from, it seems most rv here but we found a spot that had been tented on before just a bit north of posted coords. A group of bighorn sheep came with in 3m of the tent, be aware of wildlife in the area.
