The place is right down on Mex 200. It goes down a steep soil road. not for trailer or to turn around for big rigs! It's 6 km before/after Pinotepa National. We parked 6 m near the river. The night was very quiet.

Nice spot by the river, however the police came down at 9pm and told us that it is not safe here. Specifically they said that armed men come here. They recommended that we go to the nearby gas station. We did so and there were police there all night, so very safe. Maybe this is a dangerous area?
Report Check-InThe spot itself is very nice, couple of locals there in the evening but they left as soon as the sun goes down. However when I stayed there there was rainfall and the next morning I got stuck in my 2wd van as the road was very steep and the gravel to loose. Had to get a ride into town to get a towing service to get me out of there. I think I would have gotten stuck with my can anyways even if it hadn't rained so I would definitely recommend 4wd only, bit of clearence also very helpful. Also messed up my tire completely in the process and had to get a new one.
Additionally the towing truck driver looked at me very shocked when I explained to him that I slept there in my car but I don't know what that was about
Arrived Sunday afternoon, several local family groups enjoying the river, they left by dark and I had a perfect bath in the river and a peaceful night. The main road is nearby but very little traffic noise carries to the riverside. Access is a steep but firm dirt track.
Report Check-Inthe GPS was wrong. it's in the Riverside where the road is.
the way down to the river is not to steep, i think every vehicle could do it. but here is absolutely no place to turn around for a big rig.
it's a lovely place, just some street noise. quiet at night!
you can swim in the river. no mosquitos. some locals under the week
