The last review is correct. Some homeless set up permanent camp in a dilapidated RV, so the police are now moving everyone out of here regularly. It's a shame some people have to ruin it for everyone. Expect a knock if you try to stay the night. There is super stealth camping all around in Pismo where you don't have to move your vehicle for 72 hours. Just don't make it obvious you are staying in your vehicle.
Report Check-InNo longer ok to stay here. Just got a knock at our door by the police and said that they got complaints and we aren’t allowed to spend the night here (there are a few RVs here with us) We told them another officer recommended this spot and he said that was false information. He’s letting us stay for the night since we are leaving in the morning.
Report Check-InWe slept here for one night, no one bothered us. 4-5 cars/RVs here too. Lots of lights and hit noisy but only spot we found to sleep that was not illegal around pismo. The Grover beach is right around the corner.
Report Check-Inparking with full light and along the 101... so not the best but a policeman refer this place to us because the parking lot at the beach close at 10pm. we move after 6am back to the overload parking lot. it is free and really near the beach (dog allowed on leash) with nice sand dunes and beautiful sunset.
there is water, outdoor showers and dump station (I don't know if it is free but is seems open) at the beach
