Ecogranja Ñandu'a | Established Campground

We didn't camp there because we had very unpleasant experience while contacting the owner in advance. The price he wanted for two persons for two nights is 300.000 guarani. So it's 75000 per person per night. We travelled through Paraguay during three months and never saw such prices! The closest (but still cheaper!) was camping in Mbaracayú reserve with 600 pppn but there you are in the middle of a huge well-protected nature reserve! The owner of this ecogranja mentioned that a guided walk is included in this price. We explaned that we will be happy to walk alone for birdwatching (don't think they have specialized birding guide) and we don't speak Spanish to understand the guide. The next wise step would be to allow us to camp for lower price without a guided tour. However, the owner adviced us in a passive aggressive manner to look for another place which we can afford. So they just want you to pay for the tour even if you don't want it or go away!

camping on the farm flat space to park vehicles even large vehicles. Access to very clean bathrooms and showers. Opportunity to walk in the forest to observe birds and monkeys. 100,000 gs a night for the truck and the three of us. César the owner is super friendly and very helpful. Great place, highly recommended!
