This park has different levels of camping- primitive $8, developed (with picnic table and shelter) $10, then a $14 level with electric and an $18 level with electric and sewer. Restrooms and campsites w electric/water/sewer closed in winter. Lake was beautiful! Woke to 25 turkeys surrounding us! Very quiet. Got down to 47 degrees. perfect sleeping in a van.
November camping- only one other camper in the whole park.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
By far my favorite stop! Only one other camper where I stayed (New Cottonwood) right by the water. Room to hang a hammock and read. Beautiful walk to the beach.
Wear shoes, I prefer barefoot but the spurs were many!
I didn't use any services. A mockingbird came and sang obnoxiously overhead all night, earplugs were a savior. Sooo many wonderful bird songs in the morning. Will definitely pay $10 anytime to come back.
Report Check-InNew cottonwood is an amazing site! Water is low this year but still good boating! The recent rains have given this place an amazing lawn through out the park.

To post description it asks about water, sewer, restrooms. These ARE available but only during warmer months. Not in winter.
