Wide gravel shoulder next to the river a few miles past Index, could fit quite a few vehicles/RV’s. No Verizon service. There is a fire ring and the river is beautiful. Almost no traffic because the road is permanently closed a few miles up. Looks like the spot *could* be a party spot for teenagers on the weekends judging by some graffiti and a few pieces of trash/bottles but I didn’t run into any issues here on a Tuesday night. The view is spectacular, mountains on every side and a rushing river to lull you to sleep.

little pullout that would fit like 3 cars, stood here with 1 other transporter one night. pretty level and right next to the river with a fire pit. some cars driving by but calm after 10pm, beautiful place i can recommend
Report Check-InThe big pull off is blocked but you can fit two cars there or maybe one van. Still no signs saying you can’t overnight camp. There was a fire pit but I just wanted to eat and sleep. I had a nice dinner but everyone who drove by seemed a little sketchy and there were these loud mini bikes ripping by until I decided to leave at 12:30. I was the only one there and didn’t feel safe. Where did that many cars go if the roads a dead end? I planned to explore the next morning but oh whale 🐳 beautiful drive and maybe someone who’s not alone would appreciate it. I just happened to get weird vibes and loud rippers
Report Check-InSuper quiet night here! Only a handful of cars passed the whole time I was there, and none at night. The views really are gorgeous and it's a fun spot/road to walk your pet on. Really nice to go to sleep with the sound of the river. Also nice and flat! Definitely no service though.
Report Check-Inbeautiful spot to sleep right by the river and some gorgeous scenery around. dead end road, however there were a handful of cars driving past still. graffiti and garbage around, but no one was there and it was a Friday night
