Cute place to stop for the night. Multiple spots available in the area. 4x4 not required, but the gravel/dirt roads were bumpy. Good for any sized vehicle. Not sure if okay for pitching a tent.
No "no camping" or "no parking" signs. No toilets or garbage bins. Great view of the sunset, the moon, and the sunrise!
Peaceful area, just a couple people walking with their dogs along the beach in the morning.
stay on the main trails, I got stuck trying to back up, I had to call a tow truck which also got stuck

Very nice place with lots of possibilities to park! Wonderful views directly at the waterfront, quiet and beautiful at sunrise.
Report Check-InLovely spot with lots of dog walkers, great if you’re traveling with a dog! Definitely the local dog walking spot but local dog walkers didn’t seem very pleased about the overnight campers. They was one permanent homeless vehicle and 3 van campers.
Report Check-InGreat place as previously stated, got foggy in the evening, but still great to see the water all night.
Report Check-InBeautiful place to camp overnight. Very quiet, beautiful sunrise.
We are here with 4 camper vans.
As others have said, a great spot. There were at least 6 others camping here and no animosity from locals. In fact great conversations with several locals.
Report Check-InIt’s gorgeous! Easy to find. Rose and Rooster Cafe just before Dyke Rd coming from Halifax—excellent coffee. A little tricky getting our 17’ van more or less level. Lots of rocks but still have to watch for sand. Ocean at our back. Sun, breeze, waves. Doesn’t get any better. Photo shows 5 of the 6 other vans that were here. Plenty of room for all.
Report Check-InIt is a very nice place, lots of places to park and a beautiful view of the sea !
Report Check-Inas described, nice place, friendly dog owners, a bit windy and cold at this time of the year, but good for staying one night or two
Report Check-InPlace is as previously described, plenty of space, no mosquitoes for us fortunately but a cold wind at this time of the year. We highly recommend, quiet night and great start of the day with a nice walk on the beach in the sun 🌞
Report Check-InSecond time staying here. Beautiful 19 degree day, hanging out relaxing soaking up some sun.
Report Check-InGreat spot with lots of room for many sites. We stayed here overnight during tropical storm Philippe, lots of people out to see the waves and walk their dogs. Great spot for shore bird watching and kite surfing. Would recommend.
Report Check-InWhat a great spot! Plenty of room. Even with breeze, somewhat buggy so prepare yourself, but so worth it. Beautiful sunrise and pure quiet for sleep.
I do recommend you arrive when it's light as the sandy ground can be quite soft. You don't want to get stuck.
TMobile, had 5G with 4 bars.
Report Check-InAwesome location. Plenty of spots to pick from, all near the water. No issues with mosquitoes but it was a windy day. We will be back in the future.
Report Check-InGreat place outside of Halifax to stop for the night. Tons of room for lots of rigs.
Report Check-InGreat spot with all kinds of room. I got there around 9:30pm so didn't read the signs about the bombs on the beach until the morning.. got a kick out of that.
Report Check-InWonderful spot however windy today. Tons of space plenty level parking. Great area for the dogs to run and play freely.
Report Check-InReally beautiful spot. A few other campers but so much room to explore and be separate. Highly recommend!
Report Check-InPerfect spot by the beach. Amazing view!! we did a bonfire on the beach and there’s other Ioverlanders along the roads. Plenty of space you can park for the night. Please pick up your toilet paper after yourself.
an extraordinairy place ! it beautiful an intimate ! the biggest predator are the mosquitos !
Mosquitos are really bad here! We stayed one night in a pinch but didn’t get out of our van because we saw how bad they were. A local came in the morning to walk their dog and they were in full mosquito net gear.
Report Check-InQuiet place, lot of place and lot of hungry mosqitos.
Amazing spot for a nigth or two !
We mannaged to parked and camp there true a stormi nigth.
a lot of nice people to meet if you like dogs !
Report Check-InGreat spot! Lots of people come walk their dogs on the beach in the evening and in the morning, so not very private until around 9/9:30pm. No garbage cans around.
If you don’t have a 4x4 just be careful as some areas can be quite sandy as you get closer to the beach.
