The best place to stay in Florence. It's a small dirt path between two houses being built too narrow for a trailer (You would probably scratch a truck getting it down there but I imagine you could) but our Delica fit through just fine. it is super secluded and on the path down is what looks like a giant rabbit hole kind of pathway to a sweet relatively private beachfront that we slept on in a little driftwood hut. I didn't see any “no” signs but saw a couple on the way through Florence at a lot of other worse spots. parts of it are relatively level and big enough for maybe 2 but you could easily fit 4 mid-sized vehicles in the turnaround area. We used 4x4 but I don't think it was necessary. also 2-3 bars Verizon.

Latest Check-Ins

The comments have been back and forth on whether or not this place is closed. It definitely is! There’s a sign posted on the middle of the road so you can’t even get there if you wanted to.

Report Check-In

This spot is not closed, it just feels super sketchy to get to. It's down this little dirt road that feels like someone's unmaintained driveway but in actuality it leads down to this little clearing. Great shrub tunnel trail to and through the dunes to the beach. I loved this spot. SO GOOD.

Report Check-In

Took a chance on this site. There was not a single sign saying no camping like one of the reviews said. Amazing, safe spot to stay. Room for maybe 2 rigs. Was able to get down in a Ford e350 with no problems. Remember to leave no trace.

Report Check-In

There are several no camping or overnight parking signs now.

Report Check-In

Wow definitely a SPOT. Only 2-3 flat spots max.

Thanks for the posting

Report Check-In

A couple with an RV was here when I showed up and looked at me funny. I asked if it was their property and they said yes.

I figured there was a possibility they were just other campers who didn’t want me to stay down there too so they said it was their property, but seeing as this is an entirely residential street, chances are this spot is private property. No signs, however.

Wow. Thank you Liam. For TRULY finding the best spot! I have a Ford e250 was able to get in smoothly. Most of the homes viewpoints are under construction so they are unable to see in. No signs. This is the spot. You can find a level spot here
