Description

Very nice presentation of cacao history/trade/produce. The entrance fee includes a Mayan ceremony & chocolate sampling. They also work as a wild animal refuge centre. They have monkeys, jaguars & deer. It is worth a visit if you are around and you are sick of pyramids.

touristic spot but nice to get impression on making of chocolate. 165 peso p.p is a steep price though. also the high 105 peso for a chocolate bar is ridiculous. we had 2 bars for 100 peso and a private 2 hours tour at Jesus Maria Hacienda Tabasco
