this is such a great and useful spot. we rocked up at 9:30pm the night before our 7:30am ferry. they check you in the night before so all you have to do is wake up and drive on. if we didn't stay here we would have had to get up at 4:30am to make the checkin time.
bright lights in the car park and some very inconsiderate camper in front of us kept their generator on well into the early hours. this is a great option for convenience though. 🙌
Going with the dayferry from Pr.Rupert to Port Hardy we were offered to check in the night before and stay at the inside parkingline for the night. costs 22 $ but meaning no getting up at 04am to be at the check-in at 05. noise from arriving ferry 11.30pm but still worth it
