Park rangers approached us and said that overnight camping isn't allowed in this spot. they were really nice and let us finish cooking and all before heading out. but, so not overnight camp here, it is illegal according to them.
Report Check-InWe stayed here for one night. Beautiful spot to spend a night, but you steal the parkinglots from the bridgeworker. They seemed not that happy about it, but where still friendly. Better to park in market parking lot 300 feet earlier.
Ranger drove by several times, but didn’t bother us. Behind us was a huge converted bus and the officer knocked at there door at 10 pm. They hadn’t to left that night, but did. in the morning (they wanted to stay some more days). I think they took to many parkinglots.
Porta Potis and trash cans 300 feet away.
Very nice place with a spectacular view to San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. Quiet an no signs. The ranger from the nationalpark drove by several times. It didn‘t bother anyone to stand there.
