At 7400K ft along Divide Creek Rd, inside beaverhead-deerlodge NF I found two spots that are flat, have VZW and T-Mob LTE, are relatively easy to get to with 2x2. One spot can hold 4-5 large vans. I’ve never driven a truck+RV trailer but I’d assume a skilled driver would be fine taking time to observe areas where high clearance is beneficial.
The other (pictured where I am) should have high clearance or at least not be weighed down significantly, but 2x2 is fine.
I was looking for a place with views and service to work and enjoy some wild life while traversing through Montana and this did the trick!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Not much VZW service up here. Weak 1 bar of LTE, if you have a WeBoost you’d probably be alright. We ended up going back down the mountain so we could get some work done. Bummer, cause this is a beautiful spot.
