Small car park adjacent to Okabena Lake, Worthington, MN. Very convenient if you’re heading along I90 and want a stop over away from the traffic noise. Only facilities here are a trash can and picnic table.
However, we had a safe and quiet night disturbed only once by the nearby railway track. It’s a nice residential area but no one bothered us or they are ok without any interest in us at all.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Ended up driving by here after being at Vogt park. This lot is also posted "Park closes at 10pm, No overnight camping"
Report Check-Instay here 1 night, arrive around 7 pm and left at 7h30 am. we have a trailer and a truck so aroung 46 feet longer. we park on one side of the parking. it was saturday night so some car all the night pass near and the train around midnight. but we sleep well. there is a playground just behind so perfect for us with 3 kids
Report Check-InBathrooms across the road are great, running water included. Lot of people pulling in and out of nearby neighborhood, but most are sharing friendly glances. Picnic table by parking lot, and covered table options near bathrooms.
Report Check-Inlots of foot traffic as it's on a paved path around the lake... lots of cars with heavy boom box stereos until 8 beautiful sunset noone bothered me there are toilets at the playground across the street... quiet night slept well
Report Check-InGreat spot exactly as described. Great decking overlooking the lake.
Report Check-InExactly as the OP said. Good little spot with a good vibe for a night. Don’t make it a long stay
