Small place only for tents under mango-trees. We were here with bicycles. Enter the small path near the old house in the curve. Next to the place ist a small waterfall.

This is a beautiful, quiet spot for bike tourists but there’s a few things to mention. First, no running waterfall when we were here. Second, the mosquitoes were absolutely atrocious. They were about as bad as when we were in Alaska. And lastly, we both got punctures from cactus spikes, despite not pushing our bikes anywhere near said cactuses. I think unless there’s enough wind to keep the mozzies moving, I would be tempted to set up in one of the disused buildings between the river and here instead. Shame because it is very peaceful and pretty.
