you can park the car here at $10/night still and take public boat to Tortuguero. The last boat for the day leaves at 430 pm. The one way price is $8/person. Do not buy tours here, tgey are expensive. Buy them once you get in Tortuguero. You can walk whole place in 15 min.

No physical shop at this place, but phone or WhatsApp to the number mentionned (the local association of guides doesn't propose this tour). We've just made this day tour with Dixon and all was excellent. Very professional, he spots and identified everything that moves in the environment and gives many explanations. You won't getter any of these just doing the public boat ride to Tortuguero. You won't neither see the marvellous Cañon Palma or the view from the Tortuguero volcan. We paid $119 each, inclusive of park entrance, and it was really worth it.

I and my family visited Tortuguero with this guys. They have two boats one open boat for the river tour in the early morning to watch the animals. They take almost three hours to get to Tortuguero and visit another pace called Cano Palm which is amazing, the regular boat last only 45 min and they do not care in watching the animals. They dropped us in the Tortuguero hill for an hour walk and a visit to a local village. At noon we arrived to the village of Tortuguero and come back to the parking to at 3 PM. It was and amazing experience. Thanks from our family Dixon and Asley you made us have a great time during our visit in Tortuguero.
