A little lookout overseeing Mouse Island. Slept here one night. No sign we could not. Beautiful view. Some cars pulled in in the evening to enjoy the view also and left eventually. Very windy.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
There was a sign but we stayed anyways.
We spent the night. Lots of locals until midnight, very quiet after. In the morning, we saw the maintenance guy take out the trash bags.
Report Check-InNice lockout
We went there for dinner
But now they have a sign for No Overnight camping
Spent one night before the ferry and it was a great spot. Lots of locals coming and going and quite a few rvs/vans (get there early to get a spot). Everyone was friendly and respectful. Quiet through the night, though I imagine it might get pretty windy at times.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot overlooking Moose Inland. Fairly level. We camped here in a Class B motorhome with about 4 other smaller motorhomes. A shelter, a few picnic tables, and garbage cans are available.
A fellow who lived next to the lookout came by after hearing my husband playing his banjo. He was a musician who played on the wharf close to the ferry. It was a Wednesday.
Report Check-InNice quiet spot. Can definitely be windy.
Picnic tables and garbage cans. Would fit any size rig.
Beautiful views.
Good cell/data service.
Idyllic picnic spot at the edge of a neighborhood. Came here after a day on the ferry. Certainly a good first stop for visiting Newfoundland. Hope the locals don't mind sharing this beautiful spot. Many mosquitoes at sundown. Internet 2.14/1.24 Mbps up/down.
Report Check-InAboustly perfect overlooking the water.
A gazebo ,chairs, picnic tables.
A great place to before or coming off the ferry.
Good for Class C and class B
