Just arrived for our first night. It seems like a large overflow parking for some park or field below the hill. Police drove by a few times with no trouble yet. There are currently fires over the mountain that we have a great view of with the sunset and smoke.

Stayed here on a Saturday. The tianguis at the place is held every Sunday. At night I got a knock from the person attending this empty space. They told me they’re putting the chain on the entrance and that if I wanted to leave I should do it then. I asked if I could spend the night that I wasn’t planning on moving. He said sure. Felt safe. The bars last night were full on music past midnight. I don’t mind the sound so I slept great.
Report Check-Incan't see why this is a pueblo magico. we've done a lot of pueblos magicos in our 18mths touring Mexico, and this is the least impressive. Nevertheless a peaceful nightstop in the dirt car-park.
