Big dirt parking lot on 1st st. past Santa Maria between Back Bay Inn and private property. Leads down to the ocean and a block or so from a small downtown. Lot is mostly used for day parking, though it’s ideal for sleeping in your car/trailer!

area is pretty chill, didn't feel unsafe, I even started to cook there and no problems:)
Report Check-InThis place has explicit "No Camping" signs. Los Osos has a strict no camping ordinance. County supervisors on Sept. 28 unanimously approved the ordinance prohibiting overnight camping in Los Osos.
Report Check-Instayed the night successfully, but noticed signs when entering town saying "No Overnight Camping on Streets" so we'll see how long this lasts
Report Check-InVery quiet and peaceful. I saw no signs that say I can’t park here overnight so it seems like a good option for one night. Right next to the water!
Report Check-InStayed here for one night, there were a few people who parked next to us but it was relatively quiet and a peaceful night, no issues.
