Parking lot surrounded by trees and close to the lake. We met a group of young people who said they camp here with their cars from time to time and never had problems.
Space for a maybe 15 cars and easy access on gravel road.
There is a pit toilet but it was locked when we stayed here.
No cell service.
As the altitude is ~7000ft bring some warm clothes for sleeping. Right now (end of May) there are still some snowy spots.

as others have said parking for about 15 cars.... no no signs. lake is gorgeous and it is quiet. easy trails down to the water. it is very breezy lakeside but not bad (so far) at parking lot. they have taken the lock off of the potty which is pretty convenient.
Report Check-InGreat spot to overnight. Flat asphalt to park on with nearby outhouse which was open. I overnighted here on October 3. No one around. beautiful surroundings. No water. Very quiet.
Report Check-InThis spot isn't accessible during the winter months. In a big snow year like we had this year I suspect that the access road won't be accessible till mid to late June unless it gets plowed
