Quiet parking lot at the dog park and the Umqua River. Free parking for all. There are no signs for "no overnight“. We are here for 1 night. It is on the edge of a small residential area. For dogs, there is a free agility park.

slept here last night, good enough in a pinch, but wasn’t all that quiet for me. lots of cars coming and going and at 2 am a huge truck with a very loud engine started and ran for about 20 minutes until they left and as they were leaving another vehicle showed up and there was a lot of slamming doors and clanking around and loud talking for a while. not sure what the deal was and doubt it’s a regular occurrence, but i didn’t have the best luck with this spot
Report Check-InA quiet relaxed place. We were the only ones here over night. We stayed just for one night mid-week. There were a number of visitors to the dog park and a couple dogs roamed over and sniffed me during my dinner, but no humans seemed to have an issue with us. The parking lot is quite large for a dog park.
Report Check-InLarge paved lot next to fenced dog play area. Daytime bathrooms. Greeted by local Great Dane - nice conversation with locals. No signs prohibiting overnight use. Homes across the street. Video surveillance. No one bothered me. Felt safe. Good for ONE night. Leave no trace.
Report Check-InBeautiful Dog Park. No problem staying here, there’s bathroom’s not sure if they’re opened at night.
While I was here there was a man with his dog that stays on the blacktop. The man has no home. He won’t bother you, I said hello and he minded his own business
Great spot! Locals are really nice and the field is great space for larger dogs to run.
There is also a water spigot where it says "Doggie Water". I connected my hose there and filled up my tank/washed my dog with no problems.
Report Check-InCute little park right next to the river. Within walking distance to everything in town. One other van stayed the night too, very quiet.
Report Check-InVery confortable spot for a night. Two others here and no one bothered us. Sheriff drive by about 10pm and made no indication of any concern.
Report Check-InAwesome spot for a night! Two signs leading to the parking lot that say “RV parking —>” big parking lot, no “no” signs. Beautiful dog park that’s also good just to walk around, right on the river.
Report Check-InGreat spot with bathrooms, water spigot and a really cute dog park with lots of space for my dogs to run and play. Quiet night, felt safe and was unbothered. Glad this was here.
Report Check-InPerfect place to stay a night. Our dog got to run and play w other dogs. There are a couple of other vans in the lot. Nobody bothering anybody. Pretty quiet and safe
Report Check-InStayed here one night and I loved it. Was able to let my dog run around and everyone was so nice. They always commented safe travels since it was obvious I was living out of my jeep and friend her van. The cops came through at night but didn’t say anything they were just doing nightly checks. Clean bathroom and a Spicket to refill water jugs
