Parked along the river with ducks, geese, and deer for two nights in Anaconda. Sign says max 5 days camping. Another sign said pay at the pool, but the pool is closed for season. Main Street is walking distance but far enough away to be heard. I walked down and town was dead at 6 pm except for a brewery. Had a beer and a smile.

Great spot. Especially if you have kids! We left this spot today and a park attendant let us know that the campground is closing on Monday for the season. Heads up if you are passing through.
Report Check-InEdit to earlier post. Code enforcement officer wanted to know why we hadn't paid. Explained what we understood rules were. He said we need to call # on sign to make arrangements if pool closed. Told him sign said Park personel would come by to collect fee if pool closed. He seemed confused and said he would report in and if no one showed up, not to worry about it. No one showed up.
Report Check-InLovely spot next to stream. picnic table at this site. Acouple fire pits at others. Off season so no charge. someone came by and asked we not park in the grass. Map was a little confusing, enter off Pennsylvania Ave next to baseball stands. Port-A-Potty on site.
